  • Defended the City of Orlando, obtained Summary Judgment declaring no taking. 4444 Corporation v. City of Orlando, August 1991, Orange County, FL. Opposing attorney was Jack Richardson, Tallahassee.

  • Defended the O/OCEA, obtained Summary Judgment declaring no taking. Pinecastle Industrial Park v. O/OCEA, March 1993. Opposing attorneys were Jon Wilson, Foley & Lardner, and Tripp Cheek, Winderweedle & Haines.

    Obtained summary judgment declaring no taking in two other cases on behalf of the O/OCEA. Settlements of Note:

  • Osceola County v. Kelley Properties, (Summer 1996). Represented the landowner. Settlement of $3,200,000.00 in compensation and numerous non-monetary conditions. Initial offer was $1,300,000.00. Opposing attorney was Ken Bishop, Broad & Cassel.

  • FDOT v. Seminole Towne Center, Ltd., (Summer 1995). Represented landowner. Settlement of $8,000,000.00 for compensation for the taking of 7.987 acres. Opposing attorney was Larry Gendzier, FDOT.

  • Orange County v. Environmental Care Inc., (Fall 1996). Represented landowner. Settlement of $465,000.00 in compensation and numerous non-monetary conditions. Initial offer was $175,000.00. Opposing attorney was Joe Passiatore, Orange County. Non-monetary conditions were included in settlement concerning wetlands removal and mitigation, and execution of compliance agreement with SFWMD.

  • FDOT v. Rife-Miller, (Fall 1995). Represented landowner. Settlement of $250,000.00. Initial offer was $34,000.00. Opposing attorney was Joanne Schwebach, FDOT.
